How to install IPTV on Apple TV and iPhone: 10 steps
Test on the Apple device already in your hand
The player and the login behave identically on every Apple screen, so an iPhone shows exactly how the service performs on your connection. Run the 24-hour free trial there first, ideally during a peak evening. Once you know the streams hold up, moving to the Apple TV is a two-minute job.
Open the App Store on each screen
The blue store tile in the Apple TV home row is where that device starts. Phones and tablets use the Search tab along the bottom of the store instead. Nothing carries over between an Apple TV and an iPhone, so each screen that will stream needs its own install.
Install Smarters Player Lite
Type the name out in full and read the publisher line before you tap Get, because it has to say WHMCS SMARTERS. Plenty of unrelated listings borrow the words Smarters or TiViMate. Sign in through the Xtream option
Once open, the app offers an Xtream Codes login. Phone users should long-press each value in the WhatsApp thread, tap Copy and paste it straight into the field, which removes typing errors entirely. Let the first sync run to the end

Switch on Match Content on Apple TV
Go to Settings, Video and Audio, Match Content and enable both toggles, one for dynamic range and one for frame rate. Broadcasts produced at 25 or 50 frames then play at their native rate, so slow camera pans lose the faint judder that a fixed 60 Hz output introduces.
Select subtitles and audio tracks
Reveal the controls mid-programme, either with a downward swipe on the Siri Remote or a tap on the phone screen, and the two track icons appear there. How captions look on an Apple TV is handled separately, under Settings, Accessibility, Subtitles and Captioning. Tracks show up only where the stream is actually carrying them.
Spread one plan across the household
Put the app on the Apple TV, an iPad and a couple of phones, all signed in with the same details. Installs are unlimited; what the tier counts is how many are playing at any one moment. Size that tier against a typical evening and no screen will knock another one out.
Protect playback when you are away from Wi-Fi
A 5G connection in transit is unpredictable and eats an allowance quickly. Away from Wi-Fi, take the HD copy of a channel rather than the 4K one. iPhone owners can go further: Settings, Cellular switches mobile data off for that app alone, restricting it to home or hotel networks.
Keep VLC on hand as a backup player
The free VLC app exists for all three Apple platforms. Drop your M3U address into its network stream field and channels play from there while the main player is mid-update or being reinstalled. There is no proper schedule grid in it, which is why it belongs in reserve rather than in daily use.

Channels list correctly but nothing plays
Many players expose a choice of video engine in their settings. Moving to the alternative, often shown as VLC or FFmpeg, resolves this in most cases, since a minority of streams arrive in formats the standard Apple engine copes with badly.
The screens look nothing like this guide
You have almost certainly installed a lookalike app. Delete it, search again and install only the entry whose developer line reads WHMCS SMARTERS. Your AllTimeIPTV login is unaffected and signs in to the genuine app immediately. Never pay a lookalike app for channels of any kind.
AirPlay keeps losing the picture
What AirPlay does is make the phone fetch the video and pass it on through your router, so a stretched connection now carries the traffic twice. Get closer to the router, or better still let the Apple TV run the player itself. Switching Low Data Mode off for the home network on the iPhone also firms things up.
Subtitles drift out of sync with speech
Stopping the programme and starting it again usually puts the timing back where it belongs. Where the gap survives that, try another subtitle track if one is listed, or change the playback engine in the settings. Timing is written into the stream, so a few sources will always be slightly adrift.
The player does not appear in the store
What you can see is decided by the country attached to your Apple Account, not by where you happen to be standing. People who have moved without updating it lose sight of apps. Search the full name, Smarters Player Lite, and if it stays hidden, ask us on WhatsApp which player your store does carry.
Video stops when the phone locks
Unless picture in picture is on offer, most players halt live video the moment the display sleeps. Either keep the screen lit, plug in a charger for a long session, or hand the channel to the Apple TV and put the phone down. The larger screen keeps going regardless.
The television blinks black when a channel opens
What you are seeing is Match Content changing the output mode to suit the incoming stream, which means the setting is working. A second or two is normal. Anyone who would rather not see it can switch off the frame rate half of that menu and live with a little judder instead.
Programme times are an hour out
The schedule is built against whatever the device believes the time to be. On a phone or tablet, Settings, General, Date & Time should have Set Automatically enabled and the correct zone beneath it. Apple TV keeps its zone under Settings, General. Refresh the guide afterwards, and look again whenever the clocks shift.
The iPhone runs hot and the battery drains
Decoding video for hours is demanding work for a phone, and heat eventually throttles performance, which shows up as stutter. Reduce brightness, choose HD rather than 4K on a small screen, and keep it charging through long evenings. Watching on the Apple TV or a propped-up iPad avoids the problem completely.

Is there a TiViMate app for iPhone or Apple TV?
There is not. That player has always been Android-only, so a similar name in the App Store comes from someone else entirely. Apple owners are best served by Smarters Player Lite from WHMCS SMARTERS, which is free. Where TiViMate really is the deciding factor, run it on a Fire OS stick plugged into the same set.
Do I need an Apple TV 4K to watch AllTimeIPTV?

Is the Smarters Player Lite Premium upgrade necessary?
It is not. Signing in with your Xtream credentials on the free edition gives you the live channels and the catalogue with nothing held back. The in-app purchase buys extra behaviour inside the app itself. Which channels reach you is decided by the plan, never by the player licence.
Will an iPad interrupt the Apple TV when both play?
That happens on a single-device tier, where the one available stream passes to whichever screen started most recently. Two, three or five devices allowed means tablet and Apple TV coexist quite happily. Count the rooms that watch simultaneously and pick accordingly.
Can an older Apple TV HD still run AllTimeIPTV?
Comfortably. Players continue to install on it, and FHD or HD channels look sharp on an ordinary living-room panel. The limit is resolution, since that model has no 4K output, so 4K channels arrive downscaled. Use the Ethernet socket and it will hold a picture even when the household is busy online.
