Get the right edition for each device
Where the build comes from depends entirely on the platform. Our September 2026 check turned up no Play listing in any region for the Android edition, which means Android televisions, handsets and Fire OS sticks take an APK, either from the link support sends or from the developer site. Tizen and webOS availability swings with country and model year. Desktop builds for Windows and macOS come from that same developer site.
On Apple hardware, install Smarters Player Lite
Apple devices, from iPhone and iPad through Apple TV to Macs on Apple silicon, want the listing published by WHMCS SMARTERS. No money changes hands, and it takes the same credentials as every other edition. There is an in-app Premium tier covering app behaviour alone, so begin free and upgrade only if something is missing.
Choose the Xtream Codes sign-in
Terms come first; accept them and the sign-in choices appear, where Login with Xtream Codes API is the one you want. Keep the playlist option in reserve for occasions when support suggests it. Going the Xtream way is what separates live from catalogue, fills in episode lists, enables replays and brings richer schedule data with it.
Add your AllTimeIPTV user
Name the profile so you will know it later. The server line goes in first, opening with http:// and closing on the port digits, followed by username and password, then Add User. Channels, listings and the catalogue download in that first pass, and the dashboard that follows carries tiles for live television, films, series and replays.
Browse live channels by category
A column of groups runs down the left of Live TV. Step into one and every channel shows what is on air beside its name. Holding OK, or opening the channel menu, drops it into favourites. Since 25,000+ channels is more than anyone scrolls before kick-off, that short list is what you will actually use.
Use search in the on-demand sections
Both catalogue sections are split into categories, and a title opens an information page with play on it. Series unfold into seasons and then episodes. Given 120,000+ titles sitting on the account, the search icon along the top beats scrolling by a wide margin, and favourites apply here in the same way.
Set subtitles and soundtracks
Raise the on-screen controls mid-programme and the subtitle and audio icons list whatever the source is carrying. Certain builds also take default languages under Settings, so later titles open the way you prefer without asking. Where the menu comes up empty, the stream simply has no additional tracks attached to it.
Resume where you stopped
A film or episode you abandoned is generally remembered, and the app offers to pick it up when you return. The recently watched row is the quickest way back. Those positions belong to the device rather than the account, which is why a handset and a television each keep their own.
Catch up on missed programmes
The Catch Up tile lists only the channels that carry an archive behind them. Choose the channel, then the day, then the programme itself. How far back each one reaches varies, so it is worth checking the window on a channel before relying on it for something broadcast a week ago.
Refresh and align the programme guide
The schedule downloads as you sign in for the first time. Channel names with nothing beside them mean it has yet to finish, so run the EPG update from Settings. A schedule an hour adrift is fixed by EPG Timeshift, in the same place, which moves an hour per press. Nearby, Time Format switches the display to a 24-hour clock.
Create a kids user with a PIN
From the dashboard, open the user list and add a second profile, Kids being the obvious name. The same credentials serve it. Then, under Settings, Parental Control, set a four-digit code and flag whichever groups should vanish. Nothing in them shows again until that code is typed, and favourites remain separate per profile.
Tune decoding and stream format
Settings, Player Settings is where smooth 4K is won or lost: leave the player at its default and put decoding on hardware. Should one title alone judder, move that title to software decoding from its playback options. Where buffering will not shift, swap Stream Format between MPEGTS and HLS and give each a few minutes before judging.
Count your streams before using Multi-Screen
Android builds can tile several live channels at once, and each tile pulls a stream of its own. A four-way layout therefore needs at least four devices on the tier, which means the 5-device plan. Stay with one window where only one device is allowed. Tizen, webOS and Apple builds frequently leave the feature out.
Common IPTV Smarters Pro problems and how to clear them
The app reports an expired account
What has happened is that the period ran out, since nothing here renews itself. Send us a message on WhatsApp to extend it and the same credentials come back to life within minutes, with nothing to retype anywhere. Payment only ever follows a request from you.
Every section is empty after sign-in
Refresh from the dashboard first, then sign out and in again. Sections that stay bare point at the server line, and the culprit is most often a port that is missing or mistyped after the last colon. Read it back against the WhatsApp message one character at a time.
The app closes by itself on a Firestick
A cache that has grown too large is the usual explanation. On the stick, go to Settings, Applications, Manage Installed Applications, pick the Smarters entry and choose Clear cache, then start it again. Repeat crashes after that normally mean an ageing APK, so ask support for the current one.
On-demand plays but live channels fail
These two travel by different delivery paths, which is why one can be perfect while the other is dead. Change Stream Format and try a channel again. It is also worth confirming that another screen has not taken the plan capacity. Where nothing live will play at all, send support a screenshot.
A season is missing episodes
New episodes land on the server, and the app only displays what it saw at the last sync. Run the dashboard refresh, or sign out and back in. Where an episode is still absent after 24 hours, send support the title, season and episode number on WhatsApp.
No resume prompt appears
Those markers sit on the device, so clearing a cache, reinstalling or moving to another profile wipes them. Make sure you are in the profile you were using before. Builds without the feature at all leave you to note the timestamp yourself and skip forward when you next open the title.
Subtitles are missing or unreadable
Open the subtitle menu and try a different track where one exists. Odd symbols usually indicate an encoding the player struggles with, so test another subtitle file or a different quality of the same title. Some sources are published without subtitles altogether.
EPG Timeshift appears to do nothing
Nothing changes until the listings are pulled down again. Enter the value, run the guide update, then step back into Live TV. Where every channel is adrift by the same amount, the offset is the wrong tool: correct the clock and zone on the device, which puts every app right at once.
Hidden categories keep showing
Locks apply only when Parental Control is switched on and a PIN is saved, so confirm both. Settings are held per user, which means a lock created inside the Kids user has no effect in the main user profile.
The TV edition is missing some settings
Builds for Tizen, webOS and Apple are deliberately lighter than the Android one, so Multi-Screen or Stream Format may simply not be there. Nothing is wrong. Credentials behave the same way regardless, and on a build without a timeshift control the device clock is what governs schedule times.

Does IPTV Smarters Pro cost anything?
Not on any platform: the software is free wherever you install it. Money goes to the service that issues your credentials, which is a separate matter entirely. The Apple listing, Smarters Player Lite, follows the same pattern, with an in-app tier that alters how the app behaves rather than what it receives.
Why is IPTV Smarters Pro missing from Google Play?
No region we searched in September 2026 had it listed. Android televisions, handsets and Fire OS sticks therefore take the APK, from the link support sends or from the developer site. Watch out for imitations in the store that borrow the Smarters name while belonging to somebody else entirely.
What separates Smarters Player Lite from the Pro build?
One developer sits behind both. Apple customers are served the Lite listing through the App Store, whereas the fuller build covers Android, Fire OS, Windows and macOS. Xtream credentials work in either, and your account plays through either, so the answer is simply whichever one your device can install.
Smarters or TiViMate on an Android TV box?
Run both if the box allows it, since each covers the other when one misbehaves. Catalogue browsing, search and resume are where Smarters is stronger. A cable-style schedule is where TiViMate is, free for live viewing, with replays and recording behind its licence. One set of credentials feeds both.
Are Smarters subscriptions sold on some websites genuine?
They are not. The developer publishes software and has never sold programming, which always comes from whoever issues your credentials. A site advertising an official Smarters subscription is therefore selling something else under a borrowed name, usually with a lifetime promise and nobody staffing support.
Is sideloading the Smarters APK safe?
It is, as long as the file came from us or from the developer site. Risk lives on unknown download pages, where builds are sometimes repackaged with adware inside. Once a Firestick has installed it, let Downloader delete the file to reclaim space, and hold on to the link for the next time.
How many screens can one Smarters login serve?
As many as you like for installing; the limit belongs to the plan, not the app. Tiers cover one, two, three or five screens playing at the same moment, so every device in the house can be signed in. Exceed that number simultaneously and sessions start dropping.
Can Smarters use the M3U link instead of Xtream?
It can. Choose the playlist option from the start screen, give it a name and paste the address in. Channels will play. What you lose is the better schedule data, working replays and properly divided catalogue sections, so stay with Xtream unless support has a particular reason to move you.
What happens to my settings if I reinstall Smarters?
That device starts from nothing again, because profiles, favourites, resume markers and codes were all held inside the app. Enter the same credentials and rebuild the favourites row and the parental code. What lives on the server, channels, catalogue and your end date, is entirely unaffected.
