Samsung keeps a system caption menu as well, at Settings, All Settings, General & Privacy, Accessibility, Caption Settings, which reaches broadcasts and any app coded to follow it. Expect one soundtrack on most live channels, so a short list is normal.
Test 4K against HD on your line
Run a 4K channel for a few minutes, then the HD copy of the same one, and judge the difference yourself. Wireless silicon inside a television is rarely strong, which is why an Ethernet run makes 4K noticeably firmer. Under 50 inches, HD holds its sharpness at sofa distance and survives a congested network far better.
Keep a fallback ready for older sets
