What you need for IPTV on your MAG and Formuler box
- Infomir hardware from the 300, 400 or 500 series, or a Formuler on the Z8, Z10 or Z11 line
- The twelve characters of the MAC, printed on the label underneath
- The portal address we send on WhatsApp as soon as that MAC is activated
- A network lead long enough to reach the router, which is what holds 4K together

How to install IPTV on MAG and Formuler box: 12 steps
Decide whether a box is the right shape for you
Nobody needs one of these, yet plenty of people prefer them. Their appeal is a wired socket, number keys under the thumb and a schedule that draws instantly. Free players on an onn 4K Pro, or on a Fire TV Stick 4K Plus, reach the same channels, so let the interface rather than the badge decide.
Read the MAC and send it to support
The sticker underneath carries it, and the device information page in settings repeats it. Infomir addresses open with 00:1A:79 every time. Photograph the label and send that picture to us on WhatsApp rather than typing it, since O and zero look identical on a small sticker. Activation usually lands inside 15 minutes.
MAG: enter the portal address
Open Settings, System settings, Servers, Portals. Write AllTimeIPTV in the Portal 1 name field, then copy the address from WhatsApp into Portal 1 URL exactly as sent, character for character. Save, step back and choose Reboot device. After the restart the portal loads by itself and asks nothing further of you.
Formuler: create the portal in MyTVOnline
Launch MyTVOnline and create a new portal entry. Give it any label you like, then paste the address in. MyTVOnline also accepts Xtream details if that sign-in suits you better. Because a Formuler runs Android underneath, free players such as TiViMate can sit alongside MyTVOnline as a ready backup.
Set the time zone and language
The path on Infomir hardware is Settings, System settings, Advanced settings, where a Time zone waits, alongside a menu Language if English is not wanted. Save, then reboot. Getting the zone right is what lines the schedule and the replay lists up with what is actually on air in your part of the world.
Learn the channel list and guide
Once it comes back up, 25,000+ channels are sitting there with a schedule beside them. Work through the list, step across categories and press the coloured keys, which most portal layouts wire to favourites and guide views. Anything watched daily belongs in favourites, two presses from wherever you are standing.
Find the on-demand sections
Most portal home screens separate live television, films and series into their own tiles, and many MAG portals name the film area Video Club. Scroll a category or use search to find a title by name. Series expand into seasons and then episodes. With 120,000+ titles on the account, search saves plenty of scrolling.
Switch audio tracks and subtitles
Infomir hardware raises those choices through the menu or info key while something is playing, assuming the stream carries more than one track. Formuler keeps the same choices inside the MyTVOnline playback menu. A number of portals will also remember a preferred language pair, so later titles open already set the way you like.
Lock categories with a password
Portal settings include a parental section; create a password there and flag the groups that should be out of bounds. From then on, opening one demands the code. Formuler owners have a second layer inside MyTVOnline, and Android restrictions on top of that, controlling which apps may be started at all.
Add a second portal if you need one
More than one portal fits on an Infomir box, and the Portal 2 fields are there for a second account, perhaps a relative who wants favourites of their own. Because every portal is activated separately, have a word with support first and they will tell you what your plan covers.
Wire it up and keep firmware current
Get the cable in before attempting 4K: on wireless, a momentary dropout shows up as a frozen frame in the middle of fast action. Infomir boxes update through Software update in System settings, worth checking a few times a year, and Formuler through its own settings page. Do not cut power mid-update.
Formuler: set the clock and language in Android
Clock and language are inherited from Android here, and MyTVOnline has no controls of its own for either. Go into the Android settings from the launcher, switch date and time to automatic, check the zone and choose your language. Schedules and replay times inside MyTVOnline fall straight into line.
Common MAG and Formuler box problems and how to clear them
The screen reads STB blocked, or the portal is blank
Two explanations cover nearly every case: activation is still in progress, or a character of the MAC was read wrongly. Send a fresh, sharp photo of the label over WhatsApp. Fixing an address of this kind takes minutes, whatever the hour, because support is staffed through the night.
The portal opens with no channels
Restart the box so it asks the server for a new list, then hold the portal address against our message character by character. Where the groups are still bare afterwards, ask us to refresh the account at the server end, which is done while you wait rather than by appointment.
A time synchronisation warning appears
Infomir boxes ask an internet NTP server what the time is. Look under Settings, System settings, Servers, General: the NTP entry wants pool.ntp.org. Type that, save and restart. With an accurate clock, both the schedule and the replay lists settle back into their proper positions without further work.
Loading spins without end
Seat the network lead until it clicks and satisfy yourself that the router itself is online. Whether an IP address arrived is shown on the Network Info page within System settings. Restart after checking. If the spinner persists, a photo of it on WhatsApp usually lets support name the cause straight away.
Picture plays but there is no sound
Try another audio track first, as the default may be encoded in a form this chipset cannot decode. Eliminate a muted set or soundbar. After that, line the HDMI audio output option on the box up with what your speakers will accept. Opening a second title tells you whether one file alone is at fault.
The image is stretched or cropped
Settings, System settings, Video holds both resolution and aspect ratio on Infomir hardware. Pick what the television genuinely outputs, 1080p or 4K, with the shape to match. Where a single title alone looks odd, it was most likely shot in a wide cinema ratio and is being displayed exactly as intended.
The remote is ignored
Start with fresh batteries. Infrared is common on these handsets, so point it squarely at the front of the box with nothing blocking the path. Where a few keys alone have died, the rubber contacts beneath them have worn away, and a replacement handset puts everything right without touching the box.
A channel shows no replays
Only channels with an archive behind them can replay anything, and every archive covers a fixed window of days. A box whose date is wrong will hide earlier entries completely, so check the clock before assuming a fault. Where a channel that should carry replays offers none, send us its name.

IPTV on MAG and Formuler box: your questions answered
Should I choose a MAG or a Formuler for AllTimeIPTV?
Simplicity points to Infomir, flexibility to Formuler. One portal, one schedule and a sturdy handset is all a MAG presents, which suits a household that wants nothing to go wrong. Formuler puts Android underneath, letting players such as TiViMate stand ready as a backup, and the Z11 Pro Max handles 4K HDR material.
Can STBEmu replace a MAG box?
To a large extent. The app draws the same portal interface on an Android box or Fire OS stick and invents a MAC of its own, which we activate exactly as we would a physical unit. Adverts appear in the free edition; the Pro version is a single purchase on Google Play without them.
Are boxes sold with lifetime channels worth buying?
They are not, because nothing stands behind the promise. A resold panel powers them, it stops when the seller loses interest, and the markup you paid on the hardware is gone. Buy the box plain from an ordinary retailer, then attach an account with monitored servers and a 7-day guarantee on a first order.
Will a streaming stick do what a set-top box does?
In most houses, near enough. Free players on a Fire OS stick reach identical channels and the software behind them is refreshed more often. Where a box still leads is the wired socket, the number keys and a schedule that draws the instant it is called, which heavy viewers notice and occasional ones do not.
What happens if my MAG box fails mid-plan?
The plan is untouched and moves to whatever replaces it. Send us the MAC of the new unit and the portal is transferred, end date included. Should you switch to something Android-based, a Formuler or a stick, the Xtream credentials work there directly and no MAC activation is involved at all.
Do MAG 524 and MAG 540 boxes output 4K?
Both do, decoding HEVC and sending 4K down the HDMI lead. Earlier 250 and 254 units stop at HD, which covers most channels and asks less of a shared connection. If 4K is the goal, get a network cable into the box and check that the television input you are using accepts it.
Can a Formuler record programmes?
Supported models can, with MyTVOnline saving a live programme to a USB drive or other attached storage. That helps when something airs while nobody is home. Channels with an archive make it unnecessary, since a replay costs no storage at all, and catalogue titles are always there to start whenever you like.
Can children be left alone with a MAG box?
With a parental password set over the groups they should not reach, yes. Drop their channels into favourites and run through the menu and back keys with them once. There is no browser and no app store on the device, only the portal, so a wrong button press leads nowhere unexpected.
