1. Find the Xtream option in your player

   Smarters puts Login with Xtream Codes API right on its first screen. TiViMate keeps its equivalent behind Add playlist, as a type called Xtream Codes. 2. Enter the server address carefully

   What you are copying looks like http://line.example.com:8080, opening with http:// and stopping on the port digits. Nothing follows them, no slash and no space. More rejected sign-ins trace back to this one box than to anything else, so read it through once before moving down the form.

3. Add the username and password

   Both come straight from the message, character for character, and capitals count as different letters, so a single slip is enough to be refused. While you are here, give the profile a name that means something later on, Lounge or Bedroom or Kids, which pays off once several screens are running.

4. Let the first download finish

   The app now collects channels, listings and on-demand menus with no further input from you. There is never a separate EPG link to paste, because the guide source is carried inside the login itself. Allow a minute or two, and rather longer on modest sticks with little memory.

5. See what the login organises for you

   Once the sync finishes, live channels, the catalogue and replays occupy menus of their own. Archived channels reveal earlier programmes, the catalogue arrives in categories and most apps add a search box. There is a speed benefit too on modest hardware, since sections are requested one at a time instead of one vast file being parsed.

6. Set favourites and a PIN

   Whatever gets opened most often belongs in favourites, two presses from anywhere. Smarters handles locking through Parental Control, with a code and a set of hidden categories. TiViMate tidies via Manage groups and keeps its lock behind the licence. All of that is stored per app, per device, and never on the account itself.

7. Reuse the login on other screens

   A phone, a laptop or a second television takes the identical three details. What the plan governs is how many of them play at once: one, two, three or five. Counting the screens that are typically live on a busy evening is the simplest way to pick the right tier.

8. Keep the details private

   Put a copy in your password manager, or star the message so it stays findable. In somebody else hands, those values eat the capacity you paid for, and you notice it as a picture dying halfway through a programme. Keep them out of forums and group chats, and ask us for a replacement password the moment you suspect a leak.

9. Try other players without risk

   Because the account is held server-side, experimenting with a different app costs you nothing. Install it, take its Xtream route, enter the same three values. The rebuilding is limited to favourites and locks, while channels, schedule and the end date of your plan carry on exactly as before.

10. Give each viewer a separate profile

    Where two people follow different things, set up two named users inside Smarters on the one set of credentials. Favourites, history and code settings are kept apart per profile, so nobody comes back to find their menus rearranged by somebody else in the house.

The app offers only an M3U field

Sign-in fails although the password is right

Go back to the server box before anything else. An absent http://, a mistyped port or a stray slash behind the port accounts for the overwhelming majority of rejections. With the address confirmed, look instead at when the plan runs out, since ours expire quietly rather than renewing themselves.

A warning mentions too many connections

Your plan caps how many screens play simultaneously. Stop playback on another device, or allow roughly a minute for an abandoned session to close itself. Where this happens most evenings, moving up one device tier matches the plan to how the household actually watches.

It worked yesterday and fails today

Rule out an expired plan first, since nothing renews automatically here. A password change you requested would produce the same result. Send a photo of the error to support on WhatsApp and they can look the account up in moments, at any hour of the night.

On-demand loads but live channels are empty

Part of the account loading proves the values are right, so what you have is a stale live list. Reload that menu, or sign out and in again. Where it stays bare, alter the stream format if the app exposes one, and tell us which device and player you are on.

The first catalogue load takes a long time

Working through 120,000+ titles asks a lot of a small stick or an elderly panel. Put the remote down and let it finish instead of interrupting. From then on a stored copy is read locally and everything opens far faster, so this happens exactly once.

The player rejects the URL format

A few players split the host and the port into two separate fields, while most expect one line with a colon between them. Read the field labels. Where a port box exists, enter the address without the port and put only the number in that box.

A single title will not start

Try something else in the same section, which tells you at once whether one entry alone is broken. Where it is, send us the name. Where nothing in the catalogue will start, the likelier cause is the player, so change decoder or stream format and restart it.
